Taking Your Course Online - A 1997 workshop presented by staff of Computing Services. This
workshop was designed to introduce instructors to some of the many different ways that technology can be used
in the classroom. Because we are unable to concentrate on all the components of technology in the classroom,
we focus exclusively on using the World-Wide Web and electronic communication (listservs, newsgroups, and
web conferencing systems). Although somewhat dated, the the basic information is still useful for those getting started with putting their courses online.

The Teacher's Guide to Distance Learning - Teaching and learning are no longer confined to the classroom or the school day. There are many technologies
that can offer a great deal of flexibility in when, where, and how education is distributed. The Teacher's Guide to
Distance Learning is intended for K-12 educators who are interested in implementing distance learning
technologies. It provides an overview of the advantages and characteristics of the various technologies now being
used to reach remote learners.
